It doesn't stop till you power off and on the iPad and skip through that section. During the 9th chapter I think it goes mute and says it's playing but no sound comes out. The iPad is older and has a bug that the phone does not have. A few bugs here and there when using the app on my older iPad but never have had problems on my iPhone alHamdulillah.
I recommend getting the full version, but the free version is almost as good. Well organized and the footnotes are so thorough. I would recommend this app to anyone during Ramadan and beyond.
